Queens County residents are getting a chance to see the new school in Liverpool before it opens to students. The new South Queens Middle School will host an open house this evening at 6pm. School Board Communications Manager, Trish Smith, says it's an environmentally-sustainable site.Smith says there is plenty of new technology throughout the school including whiteboard desks, apple televisions, and smart-boards.
