Glen Murray can now call himself a hall of famer. The Bridgewater native and former NHL star was inducted into the Nova Scotia Sport Hall of Fame Saturday night. The 40-year-old accepted a plaque and hall of fame pin by former Montreal Canadien and Dallas Star forward Mike McPhee and former public address announcer for the Halifax Mooseheads and renowned sports media personality Pat Connolly. Murray enjoyed 16 NHL seasons with the Pittsburgh Penguins, Boston Bruins and L.A. Kings, tallying 651 points in 1,009 career games. Watch Glen's induction ceremony in the video below.

Div 3: New Germany Girls Soccer Team Wins Title
Another provincial banner will hang from the rafters at
New Germany Rural High School. The senior girls soccer club claimed the championship
over the weekend in Cape Breton. New Germany won the final game by a score of 3-1 on Saturday.
