What's the beef? Bridgewater RCMP are asking the same thing after a cow was shot in Voglers Cove. Police say two young cows were removed from a barn near Dolliver Lake sometime between the hours of 6:30pm Monday evening and 9:30am Tuesday morning. Constable David Cullen says both animals were found on a road not far from where they were taken.In another incident, a cow was shot and killed in Italy Cross between Sunday evening and Monday morning. The suspects tried to remove the animal from the property but were unsuccessful. Cullen says they don't have any motives at this point, but it appears people are looking for winter meat. RCMP say its unclear if the two incidents are related.
