A new by-law is making it mandatory to post a civic number at the end of your driveway in the Municipality of Lunenburg. It's designed to make it easier for emergency responders to find homes and businesses. Mayor Don Downe says over 2,600 homes in the municipality are without a civic address. He says its a safety issue.The by-law also makes it mandatory to post signage on private roads. If numbers or signs aren't posted, people could face a fine of over $225.
