Town Mulling Street Light Options

The town of Bridgewater is mulling the financial cost of buying or leasing LED lights from Nova Scotia Power. Council must decide by June 30 to meet the province's deadline. The town has to convert all their street lights to LED by 2020 under the mandate of the provincial government. Deputy Mayor Bill McInnis says they're exploring their options.

McInnis says the matter is expected to be dealt with at next week's council meeting.
