There's been a turning point for a proposed pub and marina in Riverport. President of the Heron Pub and Marina Association, Peter Knowles, says an anonymous person has stepped forward and helped the group acquire a building on Lower LaHave Road. Knowles adds, they are expected to close the sale of the building on Friday. He says it will help them move forward.
Knowles says there has been a lot of community support for the pub and he hopes to have it up and running in the mid to late fall. The group will have a development agreement meeting with the Municipality of Lunenburg tomorrow night at 7pm in council chambers.
