It was a clean sweep of wins for the BMO Western Hurricanes over the weekend. The major bantam club scored a 4-3 win over Bubba Rays Saturday evening. Dawson Wood, Matt Barron, Ian MacPhee and Alex Wentzell scored, while Adam Grimmitt earned the win in nets. On Sunday, the Hurricanes defeated the Halifax Hawks 4-1. Dawson Wood, Brad Jones, Ian MacPhee and Matt Sabean sparked the offense while Parker Rowter earned the win in goal. The Hurricanes sit in fourth place in the major bantam standings.
