Chester: Municipality Providing Money To Philippine Relief Effort

The Municipality of Chester is giving money towards relief efforts in the Philippines. Council has agreed to send $100 to the Red Cross. Over 2,300 people have been confirmed dead after a typhoon struck the central Philippines almost a week ago. Warden Allen Webber says the people in that country need help.

The federal government has agreed to match any funding donated towards the effort until December 8.
