What's in a name? Well, apparently an unnecessary letter. The Municipality of Chester has started a process Thursday to try and fix the name of Seffernsville. The New Ross Regional Development Society say the only family living in the area suggest it should be spelled without the second 's', as Seffernville. Warden Allen Webber says they will consult with local residents about the change.Webber says council is interested in protecting their heritage in physical structures or names. He expects correspondence to be sent to residents in Seffernsville in the next week.
