RCMP: Five Chester Men Charged With Sex And Drug Offences

Five men from Chester are facing a number of sex-related and drug charges following an investigation by Lunenburg County RCMP. Police say they began investigating after officers received tips that the men were allegedly exchanging drugs for sexual acts with four teenage females between the ages of 16 and 18. Sgt. Al LeBlanc says 16 charges have been laid and they include sexual offences, unlawful confinement and trafficking hydromorphone. Police say three of the men are in their 20s, one is in his 30s and another in his 70s. LeBlanc says the accused won't be named to avoid possible identification of the victims in the investigation. He adds, four of the five men will appear in Bridgewater court later this month.
