Most Senators Doing Their Job Well: Political Scientist

As the expense claims scandal continues to stew in the Senate, Nova Scotia is represented in the country's upper chamber by ten senators. Conservative Donald Oliver of the South Shore has been there for more than 20 years and is assistant speaker. Liberal Senator Wilfred Moore also represents the South Shore. Political scientist Agar Adamson of Chester and Wolfville believes Oliver, Moore and the other 8 Senators from this province have been performing their duties well despite the scandal tainting the whole chamber.

Some other notable Senators from Nova Scotia include Liberals Jim Cowan and Terry Mercer and Conservatives Gerald Comeau and Kelvin Ogilvie.
