A pair provincial parks along the South Shore are opening for the season this weekend. Rissers Beach in Lunenburg County and Thomas Raddall in Queens will officially open Saturday. The Victoria Day long weekend is the unofficial kick-off to the summer season. Campers are reminded that the annual alcohol-free period is in effect at all parks until early July.
