Crawley, Bullen shine in Lumberjacks win over Miramichi

The CIBC Wood Gundy Lumberjacks have their first win of 2012. The Jacks ended a nine game winless streak with a 6-4 victory Thursday night over the Miramichi Timberwolves. Michael Crawley scored a hat-trick and added an assist while Jake Bullen scored once and also had three assists to pace the Jacks offensively. Head Coach Terry Rhindress says he's happy the losing streak is over. He says his team never gave up and doesn't plan to stop playing hard for the rest of the season. Bullen also notched his 100th point with the Lumberjacks over two seasons while Billy Clarke stopped 33 shots in the win. Nick Smith and Cody Coffin scored the other goals for the Jacks. Next up, the Lumberjacks head to Yarmouth Saturday night to take on the Mariners.
