A new initiative unveiled in Bridgewater today is committed to improving the health and wellness of men. The Blue Glove Fund is a not-for-profit agency that raises money for men's health. The fund has been set up to help bring mobile health clinics and education campaigns to rural areas of the province. Spokesperson Dan Hennessey says the fund will help Medibus visit communities.Hennessey says there will be a hands-on approach plus awareness on men's health issues including testicular cancer, colon cancer and spinal-cord injuries. The fund is currently reaching out to local organizations and businesses for sponsorship to help its cause. A fundraiser will be held this Saturday from 12-4pm at the Bridgewater Mall.
