Update: Sea Trials Expected Soon For Bluenose II

It's another large step forward in bringing Bluenose II back to life. The famous schooner will undergo sea trials within the next month to ensure the vessel is seaworthy after a three year rebuild project in Lunenburg. Heritage Minister Tony Ince says the tests will determine when the iconic vessel will be ready for public sailing tours.

The restoration project is being carried out by the Lunenburg Shipyard Alliance. The cost of the project remains in the area of $16 million.
