Bayswater Beach remains top of mind for the Municipality of Chester. Council members agreed to send a letter to the province's Department of Natural Resources asking for updates on the situation and making sure more closures don't happen. Bayswater Beach was closed a few times over the summer due to high levels of bacteria. Warden Allen Webber says people deserve to know what is happening.Webber says they will work with the province to make sure the beach is available to the public.
