Bridgewater's lone Olympian will be on the track for a different reason this week. Jenna Martin will lead the Relay for Life participants during their first lap of this year's event. She will also have a photo booth set up for people to get their picture taken with her, and she's planning a speech regarding her Olympic experience, healthy eating and training. The leadership co-chair for the Bridgewater Relay for Life, Sarah Sweeny, says they're looking forward to having Jenna at the event.
Sweeny jokingly admits it was her idea to try and get Jenna and the organizing committee quickly jumped on board with the initiative. The event gets underway Friday at 4pm at Kinsmen Field, with opening ceremonies beginning at 7pm.
