The town of Lunenburg is in support of a request for a dog park in the community, but it's going to take some time to get it established. The town's dog park society has considerable interest in land on Starr Street, but that current space is zoned industrial and isn't permitted. Councillor Peter Zwicker says council has moved to make the necessary changes.Zwicker says it's part of the process after a site has been identified. He expects it to take roughly four months to go through public information sessions and hearings before it comes back to council for approval.
