Yarmouth Man Arrested & Charged After Evading Police
A 26 year-old man faces multiple charges of impaired driving and possession of a stolen vehicle after an incident yesterday in Lunenburg County. Police say they were notified mid afternoon Saturday of a possible impaired driver in a stolen vehicle moving along Highway 103. RCMP say they arrested the man after he tried to evade police and got the truck stuck in the woods around Jungle Road and River Road. The Yarmouth man is facing seven charges including dangerous driving, flight from police, impaired driving and possession of a stolen vehicle. The accused is set to appear before a judge Monday in Bridgewater.
