A one-year lease is being extended to the South Shore Ventures Co-op. The group is behind the retrofit at the old Blockhouse School. They agreed to the lease last year with the Municipality of Lunenburg. Now, council is extending the lease until August 30. Deputy Mayor Don Zwicker says the group needs a bit of extra time.The agreement has been extended to help the group complete necessary steps around an environmental approval, public hearing and development agreement.
