Bridgewater "Leopold Trial" Resumes

Crown attorneys will present the final part of their argument this week in the second degree murder trial of a Queens County man.  The jury will hear the second part of a video-taped police interrogation today involving 33 year-old James LeRoy Leopold and RCMP Sergeant Greg Vardy of Halifax.  The last half of the nine-hour interview is thought to include Leopold's confession to the murder of 47 year-old Laura Lee Robertson.  Defence lawyers have yet to present their case to the six-man six-woman jury.  The trial is expected to conclude later this week.
