The identity of a South Shore lobster fisherman, found dead yesterday in Stonehurst, has been released by the RCMP. 79-year-old Elburn Leo Tanner of Stonehurst went missing late Sunday evening. His body was discovered by searchers in the water near his boat around 5am yesterday (Monday) morning. The RCMP have not released the cause of death. Foul play is not suspected though. Its believed Tanner fell overboard while trying to breakup ice in the water around his boat and drowned.
