The province's Serious Incident Response Team is investigating after a wild string of events including a high speed police chase on Sunday. The incident began when police received a report of a domestic dispute yesterday morning at a home near Lunenburg. Police were then able to track the man down near Queens County. SiRT Director Ron MacDonald says a high speed police chase occurred on Highway 103 before the man crashed his vehicle near Granite Village in Shelburne County. The man was rushed to the QE2 hospital in Halifax with serious injuries. He remains in stable condition. Anyone who may have witnessed the incident is asked to call SiRT at 1-855-450-2010.
