Police have made an arrest after two schools were put under lock down in Bridgewater. Officers arrested a man at a house on York Street. Bridgewater high school and elementary were put under lock down shortly after lunch due to a possible threat in the community. An official with the South Shore Regional School Board told our Newsroom the schools were both put under lock down as a precautionary measure. Police say students and staff are all safe. Parents of students attending Bridgewater Elementary are being asked to pick up their children at the NSCC - Lunenburg Campus. The Bridgewater Police Service is holding a press conference to brief media on the situation.
