Park View is celebrating the first year of its new wing. An open house was held Wednesday to showcase its two-level music room and skilled trades workshop. Skilled trades students recently built a three-unit model apartment. Principal Charles Williamson says the students were proud of their work.
Students completed every aspect of the build including carpentry, electrical, plumbing, drywall and painting. Park View is the first school in the South Shore region to offer recently developed skilled trades courses.
